I asked this little boy if I could take a few photos of him when he sat down in the front of this Totora Reed Boat in between the Floating Islands of Lake Titicaca, Peru. He seemed hesitant at first, but after he saw my camera he opened up, and I managed to capture this moment. The Uros people have lived their lives on man made reed islands on Lake Titicaca for over 3000 years, easily the most fascinating lake I've ever seen. To me, this photo shows just how rich and happy a life with less complication, and more tradition can be.
