Photo and caption by Ingmar Torijano Neira

On the banks of the Amazon River, starting from the west towards Leticia is an Indian reservation called Puerto Nariño (Colombian Amazon), home of the cultures Tikuna - Cocama - Yagua, descendants of early settlers of the Amazon and South America. This young Tikuna is dressed in the costume of "mess" which they use for some of their sacred dances.

Location: Puerto Nariño - Amazonas
