Observing bears in the wild is a gift given to few, but at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center it's possible to come quite close to the "real thing". Hugo steals the show, the young grizzly bear that was found when she was a cub, orphaned and starving, with some 150 porcupine quills stuck in her paws. She will never be released into the wild, but perhaps her play friend will?
