Pennybacker Bridge, Austin, TX

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Jesus Hidalgo

The Pennybacker Bridge or the 360 Bridge, is a very popular place around the Austin Metro area. Many frequent the bridge, maybe to relax at the end of a hike, maybe to meet a friend, maybe to take their visitors from out of town, maybe gives them a sense of place, but what it's for certain, is that they all do it to enjoy the view. On this photo, you can appreciate the sunset reflecting on the buildings of downtown Austin in the distance while vehicles light paint the foreground while crossing Lake Austin.
