Pehoe is a camping amd lodge area in Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. On December 27th start a huge fire, was one of the largest wildfire recorded in Chile with more than 17.600 hectares burnt. The start of the fire was probably due to the negligence of a tourist, who had started a fire inside the park with toilet paper. The court ordered that the subject who allegedly confessed to causing the fire, an Israeli called Roter Singer, stay with regional roots and signed weekly by the prosecutor's Puerto Natales, while research is conducted. On March 8, officially declared extinct the fire.
