The Races, Kinvarra Ireland

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Patrick Kelley

The Celt's love of the horse has been passed down through the generations to produce a society that is passionate about horse-racing. There are 26 racecourses across Ireland, more per capita than any other country in the world. I captured this shot on a bright day at a small town race in Kinvarra where I had I close encounter and a fast shutter. 1/8000, f.5.6, 70mm, Nikon D70 manual settings

Location: Kinvarra, Ireland. County Galway
