Man meet seal.

In January I sailed out to Antarctica with a 8 man crew on a kayaking adventure. A week into the trip we hit Paradise Harbour. We paddled only a few hundred metres from the boat, making our way through pack ice we came across this small ice berg, hidden from view until we were parallel with him, we were totally surprised by this beautiful leopard seal. We did not want to scare or disturb, and it was purely a chance encounter. But we could not pass the opportunity to take a picture of man and seal checking each other out. He was very friendly and we left him unharmed or distressed.
Location: Antarctic Peninsular.
