The big orange ball in the distance sky

Category: Outdoor Scenes

While driving from New Jersey to Connecticut I saw in the distance a beautiful orange full moon. I took the next exit where I drove to the top of the parking deck at Hackinsak Hospital. There it was hanging over Brooklin, NY. I got my camera out. Just as I looked into the viewfinder a plane flew in front of the moon. I missed the shoot. Now just a beautiful moon picture was not good enough I wanted one with a plane. For the next hour I watched planes fly under the moon and over the moon, then finially another plane flew in front of the moon. I got the picture I was hoping for.

Location: New Jersey
