An Impression of Paris: La tour Eiffel qui scintille

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Bill Thornton

Taken from a Bateaux Parisien cruising along the Seine on the night of Bastille Day, this time-lapse photograph of the sparkling Tour Eiffel captures the essence of Paris' most famous landmark and perhaps of the city itself. The luminous arcs in the foreground are headlights on the Voie Expresse Rive Gauche.

Location: Paris, France
