Tea in a river bed - Flinders Ranges Australia

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Heather Burge

It had been a long hard day, cycling single track and fire trails north of Wilpena Pound on the Mawson Trail in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. When the track merged for a moment with a creek bed, the lure of brewing a cup of tea in the shade of this River Red Gum, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, was too much to resist.

Location: Mawson Trail, Near Blinman, Flinders Ranges, South Australia
