Women waiting in line at the Taj Mahal

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Kim Foley MacKinnon

For one brief moment, amidst all the tourists, families and groups waiting to get into the Taj Mahal, these women dressed in traditional garb were framed agaist the iconic building. Though you don't know the date---this photo could have been taken decades ago, but was taken just last year in 2011---you know, without a doubt, where it is.

Location: Taj Mahal, India
