Momma Snail

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Carolyn Huffman

We had anchored in Snake Cay so my husband could go lobstering and I could take pictures. I snorkeled through some octocoral and noticed a bunch of Flamingo Tongue snails hanging out on the purple coral. I snapped a bunch of pictures with my little point and shoot Canon and headed back for our boat because my husband had seen a nurse shark close by. I had no idea the snails were laying eggs until I uploaded my pictures.

Location: Snake Cay, Abaco, Bahamas
