Still waters run deep

I take this photo when I reached Yellow River shore in my last trip to the first bend of Yellow River, one of the most famous scenes of Yellow River. The lives of the residents in Maqu, a small village beside the river bend, totally rely on the river, and seem unaffected by the visitors. They become part of the scene as time passes.
Location: Maqu, Gansu Province, PRC
