Leopards at Watch

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Lawrence Noble

Two leopards, likely a mother and daughter, are sitting at attention on a rock in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. We came across these leopards during an early morning drive in November 2011. Most of the leopards we saw were alone, but these two, stayed close to each other, the younger one apparenlty not yet ready to strike out on her own.

Location: Selinda Spillway, Okavango Delta, Botswana, Africa
