The women cover their faces with their veils, colored dust flying in the air. This game is definitely among the sexes, at least in part due to a Holi tradition of honoring the legendary love between the much revered Hindu god Krishna and the cowherd women (or 'gopis') Radha. Radha Krishna and the stories are extremely popular part of Hindu mythology and are told all over India.
