I went to Rajasthan, India with 2 friends in February 2012. Part of our trip was an off-the-beaten-path tour of the region, during which we visited to the ghost town of Bhangarh, an hour outside of Jaipur. We we were the only tourists there. We felt an incredible sense of history as we started walking through the ruins. Then we stumbled upon a ritual that we had never seen, read or heard about. Still, we are not sure what it was that we saw. I left with a sense of gratefulness and appreciation of things that are different. And with the idea that sometimes, while traveling, you just get lucky.

Location: Bhangarh, Rajasthan, India
