I spent the month of March in the Acholi Quarter in Kampala City, Uganda with Project Have Hope. I was there doing photography for the organization and helping create new imagery for them to use in fundraising efforts and to create awareness. During my first few moments in the quarter I felt like I was being followed...as I turned around I saw this young boy who was mimicking my actions (taking photos) with his toy camera that appeared to be some recycled items he had taped together. I turned and we shared a smile and I took this portrait of him.
