I spent the month of March in the Acholi Quarter in Kampala City, Uganda with Project Have Hope. I was there doing photography for the organization and helping create new imagery for them to use in fundraising efforts and to create awareness. I photographed many women who had started their own businesses through loans and trainings from Project Have Hope. One of the women I photographed was Lalam Cecilia who had started her own business of selling charcoal. Here she is selling a bag of charcoal to a young boy who lives in the quarter.
