Somewhere Over a Stormy Rainbow

After a long hike upwards through mist and driving rain, we suddenly found ourselves above the storm and witnessing a spectacular show of rainbows and cloud formations in the valley below. Ireland's Glendalough Valley is part of the Wicklow Mountains National Park. Established in 1991, it extends to more than 170sq km. It is an hour’s drive from Dublin city.
