THE LUCKY LAST FRAME ON A RAINY DAY
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by PACIFICO JR JOSE
While taking a shelter on a covered walkway just beside the Fullerton Bay Hotel during a heavy downpour, another man is also taking shelter nearby and waiting for the rain to stop. With the Marina Bay Sands blurred by the heavy downpour on the background, and having only one last frame remaining of my ISO 3200 film loaded into my SLR camera – I took a peek into the viewfinder, framed the scene in front of me, set my camera settings, held my breath for a few seconds, then I finally took the shot.
