Mandrone in the Mist

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Stacy Mizell

On a foggy morning, following a very cold 3 mile hike through a trail in Big Bend. I came upon this tree. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before. It was on the side of the road on the edge of a cliff. Yet, I stopped to photograph this amazing site.

Location: Big Bend National Park
