Although it may be one of the most photographed beaches in the world, I think that this photo captures a different mood as the sun set sets on Waikiki Beach in late November. My husband and I were enjoying dinner at the Hula Grill when we were treated to a beautiful sunset that unfolded before us. What we wanted to capture in this picture is the change in mood that occurs at the beach as people go for their last swim, boat ride or surf attempt before retiring for the night. It was the moment just before the hubbub of the day's beach activity transitions into nightlife.
