The Forgotten Angkor Wat

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by ZHICONG LIANG

The photo is taken in Angkor Wat. At that time they haven't learned how to use the tenon structure,so the the roof is building by stone piled. The corridors in Angkor are narrow and long. Bas-reliefs are beautiful in Angkor Wat,but the roof of the building design is also fascinating.

Location: Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia
