I captured this shot while visiting Amsterdam a couple of years ago. I wanted to freeze the city's soul, reflected in symmetrical houses overlooking tranquil water canals, boats docked and magical nights. I waited by one of the canals for the sun to set and froze the day's magical moment as blue hues painted the sky and colorful reflections glistened on the water's surface. A moment of magic, thanks to Amsterdam's skies.
