Fort Recovery BVI Tortola

Category: Travel Portraits

Our family spent Christmas 2011 in Tortola, BVI. We stayed at Fort Recovery Villas for eight days and enjoyed the Island and its people immensely. There are the remains of an old Spanish fort there from the 17th century. Only one section survives with gun turrets ready and waiting. We had a wonderful three bedroom villa and the house kitty, "Ed," jumped into my bed every morning. Cats just know who cat people are instinctively. Christmas dinner was a home made affair prepared by the helpful staff. We look forward to visiting our new friends and the beautiful Island of Tortola again.

Location: Fort Recovery, Tortola, BVI
