Green Door at Monsanto
Category: Sense of Place

Travels are made to foreign places, usually associated to other countries. I made a journey inside my own country, Portugal. Along with a group of friends, we found ourselves at Monsanto, the "most portuguese village of Portugal". It is a village which appropriates the natural elements of the place - rocks – and this is the matter the houses are made of. The green door stands out from all the grey surrounding, inviting us to come in.
Location: Monsanto, Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal
