The mountainous Rif region of northern Morocco provides the faded background of this photo capturing the human-wildlife interaction that takes place daily in these waters where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. This image shows a group of Moroccan fisherman who are competing with a nearby killer whale, both in pursuit of coveted tuna. Just seconds after this picture was taken, one of the fisherman's lines came up empty - the whale won.
