Running Patterns

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Stewart Carlson

This photo was taken in Paris, France as a son and father ran through the Colonnes de Buren at the Palais Royal. The pair was running to escape the cold and frigid winter weather. The columns and grating are part of an art installment and the background was temporary construction. I find the photo to hold strong spontaneous energy as the environment carries strong lines directing your eyes in the direction that the individuals are running.

Location: Paris, France
