We'd been searching for lions in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, Africa. One morning we found a couple of lionesses on the banks of the Kapamba river. This one got up lazily, stretched, then walked towards our jeep staring directly at me. Unnerved, I had to put my telephoto lens down to ensure she was still a safe distance away!
