While travelling in New Orleans I spent a lot of time looking for interesting 'characters' to photograph, which ended up turning into a portrait series. This particular man was busking on Bourbon St. in the heart of the party. He stood out to me -- like some sort of magical wizard of rock. He liked having his portrait taken, almost as much as he liked my mother (who happened to have a short chat with him after I shot this)!
