Golden Rock

Category: Sense of Place

We could only stay in Yosemite for two days. It had rained one and 3/4 days. Finally the rain stopped but still it was quite foggy. We were driving from one location to another as we saw the fog just opened up a little for photography as if we were chasing a storm. We were photographing the Yosemite Lower Fall that was about half mile walk from the parking lot. Suddenly I looked behind me, I saw a ray of light on the side of the Half Dome. We ran as fast as we could to the parking lot and a big lawn. There it was -- the Half Dome was unfolding to a golden rock just like magic.

Location: Yosemite
