This is the rarely seen Collared Puffbird deep in the jungle of Amazon River in Peru. Often called a "wait and see" bird as it makes no sound or movement unless surprized by unknown approachers. Photographed during a trek into the jungle from the banks of the Amazon River, it's color, and unsual head and beak, make a striking appearance.
