I was in Rome for this year's Carnival and, while in the biggest roman Piazza, there were performers on stilts and dressed in middle-age costumes. All the performers definitely embodied the joy and spirit of Carnival, and with the extra piece of fabric on this particular costume, I really wanted to capture this moment of tradition in Rome.
