An otherworldly first light across the granite landscape from the holy Mt Sinai (Gebel Musa - Moses' mountain) on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. We walked 3 hours to get to the top, spent the night sleeping out just below the summit and woke to being surrounded by about 800 people greeting the sunrise in prayer.
