Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Mark Christian

This restored 1890s ABT rack and pinion steam locomotive was captured waiting at a wilderness railway station near Queenstown in Tasmania, Australia. The early morning rain had just enhanced the steam from the locomotive as it moved along the passenger cars from an old and glamours era.

Location: Queenstown, Tasmania Australia
