The Feast of Gaga in the island of Dominican Republic and Haiti is a rare manifestation of the meeting of brotherhood and solidarity between the two peoples: Haitian and Dominican. It has its roots in the Dominican bateyes (instead it is composed communities linked to the production of sugar cane) and from neighboring cities of these, Their social organization is hierarchical and complex. Among the most important positions, besides the owner, the spiritual leader and the king, are the young QUEENS, who infectiously dance with great skill and energy.
