Walking through San Francisco's Chinatown district, during my summer vacation this year, I turned a street corner to be met by this fantastic sight. I was struck with awe at how the Chinese citizens of the city continue to celebrate their traditions and beliefs, and for that brief moment in time I felt like I had been transported to China. I could say I had lost my sense of place!
