End of a long day in Badlands NP. Running out of time to capture a sunset from just the right spot. Sun disappearing over the horizon. Into a parking area with a 100-400mm attached. A motorcycle parked at the top of the location silhouetted into the sun. Took up a prone position and began to focus when the rider appeared in the frame. It was just us, the bike and the sun. Snapped off a series of shots. The rider oblivious to my actions. I introduced myself. His name was Mike. Road-tripping from MA. We exchanged email addresses and watched as the sun settled. Then we we went our separate ways.
