"Correfoc" on Santa Eualia's festival(Santa Eualia is the patron saint of Barcelona). " Correfoc" literally means "firerun", a typical catalan folkloric expression where people dress as devils and set off their fireworks among spectators whilst dancing to the drums of a traditional gralla. In a correfoc, one inevitably experiences the intensity of the sparks, the thick smoke, and the rhythms of the drums that pulsate and echo through the entire old town that brings a strong sense of liveliness to the old town of Barcelona on a Sunday evening.

Location: Plaza San. Jaume, Barcelona, Spain
