Reflection on a Beautiful Vista

Category: Sense of Place

As tourists, we snap photos of the gorgeous turquoise waters of the Caribbean, so unlike what we see at home. We expect that the locals are so accustomed to the beauty they don't see it, going about their daily affairs. While dining at SandBar restaurant on the island of Anguilla, I was thinking, "I would love to work here," as I noticed one of the owners, Lenox Proctor, who seemed to be thinking, "I love working here."

Location: Sandy Ground, Anguilla
