The Last Glaciers

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Diane Cashin

Upon hearing that the last of the glaciers would melt, we traveled to Glacier National Park to be a part of history. This photo was taken from a helicopter to share with others what they may never be able to see. Glacial Lakes, Waterfalls and the last elements of the Glaciers that formed the massive mountains over millions of years. At this elevation you can see the lines in the mountains revealing their geological beauty. We are honored to share this rare sight with the world.

Location: Glacier National Park, Montana, USA
