Light from Montreal reflect off the thin clouds and con trails from Europe-bound jets, then down to the still waters of the mighty St. Lawrence River. Taken at 10:30 on a clear November night, looking east towards Montreal from about 50 miles upstream, high ISO and a 30 second exposure give a gritty and haunting image of the night sky and the effects of light pollution.
