Here's looking at you, chameleon

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Gustavo Zuniga

This picture of a Panther chameleon was taken on June 24, 2012 on my very first visit to the city and to its aquarium, using an Olympus Tough TG-820. Realizing that the glass was not so high, I seized the opportunity to take a more intimate shot of this beautiful creature. Standing on tiptoes, raising my arms over the glass and with a little zoom, I took a single shot at a 135° angle. When I previewed the photo in the camera, I was amazed by the details and by the fact that it was looking straight at me, perfectly capturing was I aiming for.

Location: Dallas World Aquarium - Dallas, TX (USA)
