The Invasion Begins
Category: Sense of Place

I've always wanted to take a picture of the Toronto skyline at before sunrise but it was difficult to wake up early enough. I finally dragged myself out of bed on a chilly September morning and drove to a park on the other side of the city. I was fortunate to see a spectacular display of colors as the sun was coming out. Just as I was changing lenses, a flock of birds came up from behind me and headed straight for the city. I didn't hesitate, snapping a few frames hoping to get at least one sharp enough. All in all, a very rewarding morning.
