My friends and I volunteered some of our time outside of school to visit rural public schools to teach basic English, life skills, or other times just to interact with the children and have fun. The children would show their appreciation by putting up an opening show, where their costumes were self-made out of recycled material. The children could hardly contain their excitement, as they waved to us from "backstage". Their self-choreographed dance was about man's negative impact on the environment, and yet how there's still hope for a greener future.
