I was mesmerized by this enchanting house nestled back off a country road near Carlton, Texas. It whispered a mysterious presence of a time long ago but now forgotten. I was compelled to stop and take notice of its desolate beauty that at one time must have been an enchanting grand home. Oh the stories these walls could tell.
