A portrait doubles its worth with the appreciation from the subject and having a physical print himself. This goes a long way especially for nomads, who unlike many of us, do not have easy access to image making devices like camera, cellphone etc. The giving of a portrait, marked together with the experience of our encounter, is prehaps the best gift a photographer can leave for the people he met.
