Quiver Tree

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Lisa Labinjoh

The quiver tree or 'Choje' name comes from the San people who used the hollowed out branches to hold their arrows. This photograph was taken in the Namib desert as the sun was slowly beginning to drift down to the Horizon behind the Fish River Canyon.

Location: Namib Desert, Namiba
