Every year in the city of Kolkata, thousands gather to pray and worship the Hindu Goddess Durga. On the third day, Durga is worshipped in the form of a human body. During this ritual, called Kumari, it is said the Goddess energy descends and incarnates through this small girl. She is then worshipped in the same manner as Durga.
