- Due to a major tropical rainstorm my wife and I were forced to stay overnight in a Howler Monkey Rescue center in Panama. I used the time to explore the area and to take photos of the monkeys. Just after the rain finally stopped, I ran into this monkey that tried to mock attack me. I quickly took a couple of photos before retreating to a (more) safe distance.

- This was taken on 95th floor of John Hancock Building. I was fortunate to watch fast moving low hanging clouds swept through the city buildings during late afternoon. A cloud swirled around the Trump Tower for a very brief moment for me to capture two frames. This is one of the two.

- I was walking through a village in Cappadocia, Turkey, when I saw this scene. After I took a few pics, they loaded up some grain on my back, just like part of the family.

- Enal, a young sea nomad, rides on the tail of a tawny nurse shark, in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Marine nomadism has almost completely disappeared in South East Asia as a result of severe marine degradation. I believe children such as Enal have stories that could prove pivotal in contemporary marine conservation.

- Scene from a train station in Brussels, Belgium. This was truly a 'caught' moment, un-staged. I call it 'Reflection' because not only do we see someone in pain, in a moment of reflection, the effect of being shot through a window, and the resulting reflection, gives an almost ghost-like quality to the man, with the tracks suggesting something about his journey. In that regard, it has a powerful, almost conceptual quality.
